Description We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to support digital communications and marketing efforts within the education sector. This long-term contract position involves working onsite in University City, Missouri, where you will collaborate closely with the team to develop compelling content, manage social media platforms, and enhance community engagement. Responsibilities: - Capture high-quality photographs at events to highlight key moments and activities. - Develop and manage engaging content across various social media platforms to increase audience interaction. - Update and distribute the district's newsletter, ensuring timely and relevant communication. - Perform regular website updates to maintain accurate and appealing information. - Coordinate communications and announcements using the School Messenger platform. - Design flyers and graphics to effectively promote events and share updates. - Collaborate with stakeholders to align marketing strategies with organizational goals. - Monitor and analyze digital engagement metrics to optimize content performance. - Provide creative input for enhancing the district's digital presence. - Ensure brand consistency across all digital marketing materials. Requirements - At least 5 years of experience in communications, ideally within the K-12 public education sector. - Strong proficiency with social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn. - Expertise in digital design tools like Canva and Adobe Illustrator. - Familiarity with Google Workspace for efficient collaboration and communication. - Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Bonus: Experience with Finalsite and School Messenger platforms. - A proven track record of creating impactful and engaging digital content.
