Join our team as a day shift,   full-time , Surgery Operating Room Assistant in Tyler, TX. 

This position is located in the Main OR.

• UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with a Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians, and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities:

The operating room aide is responsible for the turnover of rooms in the surgical suite and assists in the preparation of surgical cases under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements: 

• High School diploma or equivalent required, or currently enrolled in a GED program

• One year of related experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room.
