About the Role:

The Physician Assistant (PA) plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services within the fields of internal medicine, family practice, and geriatric care. This position focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered medical care to diverse populations, with a special emphasis on the elderly. The PA collaborates closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring continuity of care. Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the practicing state.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations to assess health status and identify medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results to guide clinical decision-making.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and healthy lifestyle choices, with sensitivity to the needs of geriatric patients.
• Prescribe medications and perform minor procedures within the scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive management of chronic diseases and complex health issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay current with advances in medical knowledge and best practices.
