Lead the team at Five Guys in Indianapolis (Pyramid Place). Earn up to $18.00/hr with tips and performance bonuses. We need a hands-on leader with 2 years of experience who knows how to run a kitchen.

• Location: 3454 W 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46268 (Pyramid Place Shopping Center).
• Located: Easily accessible from College Park, Westchester Estates, and Augusta/New Augusta.
• Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour (Includes Base $15.00/hr + Tips + Bonuses).
• Job Type: Full-time.
• Shifts: Flexible schedule required (Days, Nights, Weekends).

The Role

At Five Guys, a Shift Leader does more than just hold keys. You are the standard-bearer for the shift. Because we don't use freezers or microwaves, our operation relies on strict quality control and fresh preparation. You will work alongside your team—cooking, cleaning, and prepping—while ensuring the shift runs smoothly.

You are the person the crew looks to when the lunch rush hits. You manage the food safety, the cash, and the customer experience. If you are a creative problem solver who takes pride in a clean kitchen and a happy customer, this is your spot.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the Shift: Coach the team, manage breaks, and ensure everyone follows proper procedures during peak hours.
• Operations: Monitor food quality and cleanliness. You are responsible for the restaurant's performance on and off your scheduled shifts.
• Admin & Cash: Manage daily cash procedures, labor costs, and inventory data.
• Problem Solving: Resolve customer complaints and handle any equipment or crew issues that arise.
• Reporting: Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and our internal systems to report data to the General Manager.

The Pay Breakdown

We believe in sharing the success of the store. Your compensation includes:

• Hourly Pay: Competitive base rate $15.00/hr
• Tips: Earn up to ~$2.00/hr in tips.
• Performance Bonus: Earn up to ~$1.00/hr for meeting store standards.
• Total Potential: Up to $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Tech Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
• Driver: Must possess a valid Driver's License (required for bank deposits/administrative tasks).
• Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, bend, and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Reliability: Must have access to reliable transportation to get to West 86th St on time.
