Salesforce Developer – Direct Hire

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Compensation: $95,000–$105,000 (no bonus) DOE

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match

Our client in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join their growing team on a direct-hire basis. This group is building out a new internal initiative after transitioning away from a third-party implementation. They are bringing Salesforce development fully in-house and anticipate continued team growth next year.

The Salesforce Developer will work closely with a technical Business Analyst and will be responsible for both backend development and contributing to the overall architecture and customization of the Salesforce environment.

Role Overview

• Partner closely with a technical Business Analyst to understand requirements, data processing needs, and system integrations.
• Support a major initiative to internalize Salesforce development after reverting changes made by an external vendor.
• Work within a Salesforce environment still maturing outside of Marketing Cloud—offering high visibility and growth opportunities.
• Handle manual configurations and customizations typically performed by an admin.
• Develop backend components using APEX, Salesforce’s backend programming language.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with APEX (backend Salesforce development).
• Proficiency with SOQL (Salesforce Object Query Language).
• Experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform (frontend development).
• 3–5+ years of Salesforce development experience (cannot consider less than 3 years).

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer Certification highly preferred, or active progress toward it.
