Client is seeking a Salesforce Developer Specialist to design, develop, test, and deploy customized Child Welfare solutions on the Salesforce platform.
The role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions aligned with Child Welfare program needs.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce-based Child Welfare solutions.
Develop and maintain Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components , and integrations.
Customize and configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validations, and automation.
Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems to ensure seamless data flow.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, project managers, and end-users to gather and refine requirements.
Conduct JAD sessions , requirement reviews, and impact analysis.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and support QA activities.
Track development work using Jira Scrum and Kanban boards .
Troubleshoot production issues related to code, applications, and data.
Monitor and support production systems for performance, stability, and improvements.
Prepare project plans, effort estimates, and resource projections.
Create system designs using scalable and sustainable design patterns.
Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, code comments, and configuration details.
Assist with training materials and user manuals as required.
Participate in governance meetings, technical committees, and design walk-throughs.
Enforce coding standards, peer reviews, approved methodologies, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance policies .
Review security scan results and remediate vulnerabilities within required timelines.
Identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve overall Salesforce performance.
Mentor team members and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem .
Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) .
Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
Knowledge of Salesforce integrations (APIs, data exchange).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Proficiency with Jira for task and workflow management.
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and best practices.
Experience with testing, debugging, and deployment in Salesforce.
Knowledge of security, privacy, and compliance standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience in government or Child Welfare systems (preferred).
