Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Security Specialist to provide comprehensive security support for Special Access Programs (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). This role ensures compliance with all applicable federal, DoD, and program-specific security policies while safeguarding classified and sensitive information. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with NISPOM, ICDs, SAP policies, and facility security operations.

Due to Government Contact all viable candidates must have an active Top Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy in daily operations.
• Develop, implement, and execute approved security policies, procedures, and programs for SAP, SCI, and collateral data.
• Provide day-to-day security oversight, assessing procedures for vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
• Identify potential threats, risks, and vulnerabilities to test, training, and operational activities.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the Operations Security (OPSEC) program.
• Provide support and oversight to contractor and subordinate facilities.
• Brief personnel at all levels—including government staff and senior civilian employees—on security policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews, follow‑on reviews, and facility close‑outs.
• Monitor, report, and track all corrective actions resulting from security reviews.

• Coordinate with SAP security personnel to incorporate lessons learned into security education and awareness programs.

Requirements

• Due to Government Contract all viable candidates must have an active Top Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance
• 4+ years related work experience

$100,000 - $110,000 a year
