Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: US (100% Remote)

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Job Summary

We are looking for a Scrum Master who will drive Agile/Scrum execution, facilitate team collaboration, remove blockers, and ensure smooth delivery of digital product initiatives. The role also involves project tracking, stakeholder communication, and documentation in a regulated environment.

Preferred Certifications

• CAPM / PMP
• Scrum certification (CSM or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and coach the Scrum team on Agile/Scrum practices to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and ensure continuous team progress.
• Translate product vision into executable plans, tasks, and delivery timelines.
• Manage scope, schedule, resources, quality, and delivery risks.
• Track progress using metrics and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, Cloud, Data, Security, Privacy, Regulatory, etc.).
• Manage partner/vendor coordination and ensure timely delivery of commitments.
• Prepare documentation and reports for audit/compliance purposes.
• Support testing activities and execution of test plans as required.
• Escalate critical issues and drive resolution with urgency and clarity.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations (banking/regulated environment).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience:
  • 4 6 years in product/project development, OR
  • 0 3 years in Agile project delivery with relevant experience
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and SDLC methodologies
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and meeting facilitation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
