Starting salary for this position: $48k- 58k (based on experience)

Maximum Se curity is seeking a skilled and dependabl e Operator to join our growing Command Center team in Huntington, NY. In this critical role, you’ll help ensure the safety and security of the communities and businesses we protect—through real-time monitoring, fast decision-making, and clear communication.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor all surveillance systems and security cameras with precision and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
• Accurately document incidents, events, and actions taken in clear, legible written reports.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Answer phones and radios in a professional, courteous manner and handle inquiries efficiently.
• Respond to and send emails as part of ongoing incident communication.
• Collaborate with staff and security agencies to ensure proper use and functioning of CCTV systems.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Strong verbal communication skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent multitasking skills—capable of managing several events simultaneously.
• Proficient in operating computers and phone systems concurrently.
• Able to remain calm and focused in rapidly evolving scenarios.
• Comfortable relaying critical information in fast-paced environments.
