Senior Accountant - CPA Opportunity!

We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant - CPA to lead and oversee the financial health and strategic direction of our organization. This key leadership role manages financial and accounting functions, including billing, accounts receivable, cash reconciliation, collections, general ledger, budgeting, internal controls, and audits for inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary services.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant, CPA :

• Conduct monthly financial reviews to control expenses and evaluate performance.
• Develop and oversee annual financial and capital budgets.
• Manage accounts receivable and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements to the CEO and stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard assets and ensure accurate reporting.
• Improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
• Develop and track key financial performance metrics.
• Forecast cash flow and maintain long-term projections.
• Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Support financial audits and oversee Medicare compliance reviews.

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant, CPA :

Education & Experience

• MBA required; CPA licensure mandatory.
• 7+ years of healthcare-related accounting experience.
• Familiarity with public accounting, healthcare auditing, and reimbursement regulations.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budgeting, and banking.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Effective communication and team-building abilities.
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail.

Technical Proficiency

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and financial database applications.
• Knowledge of integrated financial software systems.
