Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Seaside, OR
Pay Rate: $41/hour
Contract Length: 6 months
Start Date: January 5, 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Location: In-person role

Position Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) assists the Speech Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services to students. Responsibilities include clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP and/or physician.
Essential Duties
+ Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in the SLP's treatment plan.
+ Assist with AAC devices and other communication supports.
+ Collect and tally data during intervention sessions as directed by the SLP.
+ Prepare therapy materials and assist with clerical tasks.
+ Collaborate with SLPs, related service staff, and school administrators to support student goals.
+ Follow documented therapy plans and instructional strategies aligned with IEP/IFSP requirements.
Schedule Details
+ Full-time, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours/week).
+ 30-minute unpaid lunch break for shifts over 6 hours/day.
Minimum Requirements
+ Graduate of an SLPA program (Associate's) or Bachelor's in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders.
+ Minimum 100 hours of supervised fieldwork or equivalent clinical experience.
+ Active SLPA license in Oregon (
+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ TB screening and current health certificate (as required).
+ Must be at least 18 years old.
+ Preferred: 1 year of SLPA experience and prior work with K-12 students in a school setting.
