We are seeking a **Systems Engineer II** to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO. **This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.** **What You Will Do:** _Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:_ + The selected Systems Engineer will be paired with more experienced engineers in performing: requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, and interface definition. + This position may include software development, database manipulation, or Model-Based Systems Engineering Tools usage + Systems Engineer must be able to function as part of an experienced team in developing systems engineering products while adhering to the program Architecture and Systems Engineering Management Plan (ASEMP) and other processes. + Support the SE-V, Architecture Team. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Strong System Engineering and proven leadership experience. + Experience performing system engineering for large complex systems to include requirements analysis and decomposition, Interface definition, root cause analysis, application design, integration, and test. + Experience working on site and with teammates from multiple companies and in geographically different locations. + Familiarity with agile principles and the ability to work with different teams within an organization. + Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, identifying, and diagnosing systems administration, infrastructure, and architecture. + Experience user of the Confluence and JIRA tools and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities. + Exposure to Systems Engineering concepts and skills such as requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, and interface definition. + Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience. + Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
