The Center Associate is responsible to deliver world-class customer service to all retail customers. He/She receives and processes packages for courier shipment, creates custom print documents, operates copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best print solutions. The Associate exhibits confidence by knowing best practices as related to the industry.

One of the primary requirements for this position is prior experience of working in an UPS Store . Other relevant experiences required for this position are strong computer and internet skills, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. He/she will be a fast learner who tries to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes in center customer service to help customer with shipping, mailbox, faxing and all profit center needs.
• Creates custom print solutions using Microsoft office and other applications.
• Continuously practices good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership
• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Takes ownership of any shipping problems and offers viable solutions
• Takes action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends
• Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and is willing to teach others
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Performs other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience of working in an UPS Store .
• Photoshop experience is a plus
• Excellent attendance record
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Non-smoking environment
• High school diploma or GED recommended but not required.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license
• Able to lift over 40 pounds
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible
• Willing/able to work a 25 to 30+ / less than 40 hour-per-week for a 6 day work week
• Can get Notary

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
