Job Title: Aerospace Stress Engineer

The Aerospace Stress Engineer will be responsible for performing detailed stress analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structural components, supporting live production and repair activities on-site. This role requires close coordination with production and customer teams to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances (NCs), repair assessments, and concessions.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute static stress analysis for primary and secondary aircraft structures.
Perform stress assessments on non-conformances (NCs), repairs, and concessions.
Provide on-site stress support for high-priority factory requirements and live production activities.
Extract loads and stresses from global finite element models (GFEM).
Develop detailed finite element models (DFEM) to support analysis.
Carry out fatigue and damage tolerance (DT) life calculations using standard aerospace methods.
Size structural parts for static, fatigue, and DT compliance.
Extract geometry details, material properties, and fastener specifications from engineering drawings and assemblies.
Prepare detailed stress certification reports and documentation.
Collaborate with customer leads and engineering teams to review and define stress assessment requirements and methodologies.
Attend and contribute to daily technical and production meetings.
Provide technical guidance to production and engineering teams for resolving NC-related issues.
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Stress Engineer in the aerospace industry.
Strong knowledge of stress analysis principles and methodologies for aircraft structures.
Hands-on experience with stress analysis tools such as ANSYS , MSC Nastran , and ISAMI .
Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Surface Design, Sheet Metal, Tubing/Ducting, Composites).
Experience working with Enovia or similar PLM systems.
Familiarity with aerospace standards, manufacturing processes, and documentation practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Prior experience in Airbus stress methodologies and standards.
Experience in concession and repair stress analysis for commercial aircraft.
Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams in a production environment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality technical deliverables.
