Job Description

Position: Cisco VOIP Project Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote

Travel: Up to 15%

After-Hours Support: 10-20% as needed

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and oversee Cisco VOIP installation projects for our client. This pivotal role requires a professional capable of managing complex technical deployments from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating resources, managing stakeholder relationships, and navigating the technical landscape with confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for Cisco VOIP installation and deployment.
  • Track project milestones, monitor progress, and generate detailed reports to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively to prevent delays or scope creep.
  • Manage change control processes to ensure project objectives remain aligned throughout execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong contractual and professional relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of technical business initiatives, including conducting business case analyses and feasibility assessments.
  • Coordinate multiple interrelated projects or strategic programs, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing Cisco VOIP solutions and related technical projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
  • PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce applications is a plus.
  • Strong technical understanding of VOIP systems, network infrastructure, and project management best practices.

Work Requirements:

  • Remote work with the ability to travel up to 15% as needed.
  • Willingness to provide occasional after-hours support (10-20%) to ensure project milestones are met.

Compensation:

Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00 Hourly
