Pay Rate: $35.76 – $48.60 per hour (USD)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health/Psych Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in an inpatient psychiatric setting. The RN will play an essential role in patient assessment, crisis intervention, medication administration, and maintaining a safe therapeutic environment in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to patients in a behavioral health/psychiatric environment.
Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor patient status, and promptly report changes.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders.
Ensure patient safety using evidence-based psychiatric nursing practices.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and support individualized care plans.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and de-escalation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams.
Active RN license in the State of New York.
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
